Description | "The project is implemented by the Foundation in Support of Local Democracy named after Jerzy Regulski (FSLD), the largest network non-governmental organisation in Poland, with 14 regional centres. The aim of the project is to strengthen the potential of civil society organisations (CSOs) in Poland operating in rural areas and small towns (up to 50,000 inhabitants) and to promote European values and the rights contained in the Charter of Fundamental Rights (the ""Charter""). Activities planned in the project: 1) Capacity building for CSOs through: training and advisory support improving knowledge and skills in the field of rights and freedoms under the ""Charter"", project implementation, fundraising; building a support network for CSOs by conducting consultations, a helpdesk, a website dedicated to organisations; networking meetings, forums and congresses dedicated to strategic cooperation between CSOs and public administration and the business environment; implementation of social innovations in the local community (in particular, in towns ip to 50,000 inhabitants); 2) Financial support to third parties (CSO’s): regranting of funds for the implementation of projects in 3 forms: small, large, and intervention grants with multifaceted substantive support. Under the grants received, CSOs will implement projects whose detailed activities are described in section of the project application. Information activities will be carried out in traditional and online media, including social media. The activities and substantive support will be conducted in a way promoting accessibility and the policy of non-discrimination and gender equality as well as accessibility for people with disabilities. Project implemented for a period of 36 months (01.2023-12.2025) in Poland, directed to CSOs registered in accordance with the Polish legislation. Total budget: 4 151 279 €, grant: 3 766 179 € (with indirect cost flat-rate: 7% - 271 579 €.), own contribution: 385 100 € (11,01%). " |
