Description

Description

RIGHT WAY - Building integration pathways with victims of human trafficking aims at developing a holistic and durable integration pathway based on victim-centred and gender-specific approaches, with a main focus on economic inclusion and a specific target group, namely Nigerian women victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. A pilot scheme, built on key elements obtained from European practices’ exchanges and lessons learnt by partners’ ground experiences, will be implemented in order to support the economic and social integration of at least 50 victims (including a start up of a social business developed and run by the victims). Specific activities will be done to empower host communities involved in the pilot scheme to increase their capacity of support integration. Furthermore a transnational cooperation network of grassroots organisations who are committed to integrating victims will be created to support and strengthen the existing Italian network throughout and beyond the end of the present proposal. Evaluation of the results of the pilot scheme together with the research and analysis of previous practices will allow the partnership to finalize guidelines on integration pathways for victims of human trafficking (EN/IT/FR).
