Description

Description

AONTAS’ main objective in the 2024-2025 NEAAL project is to enhance a powerful and empowering learning ecosystem that uplifts learners, organizations, and the community education sector in Ireland. Through the two-year project, we will empower learners, build the capacity of community education practitioners, raise awareness of the green and digital transition, enhance the standing and visibility of the community education sector, and promote the idea that learning can happen anywhere. We aim to facilitate workplace learning, foster innovative learning environments within community education, and emphasize the transformative power of education. Additionally, we are committed to driving the successful implementation and long-lasting impact of the European Skills Agenda and the European Year of Skills initiative. The strategic impact of this project will be empowering learners, practitioners, and the community education sector while aligning with European priorities and fostering a culture of lifelong learning and innovation with a learner-centred approach. This project has been meticulously planned to ensure that all project programmes work harmoniously with each other. While the Project Advisory Group oversees the project activities and outcomes, the Learners as Leaders Programme, the Learner Voice Project, AONTAS on the Road Programme, and the Innovation in Community Education Project operate concurrently and share data and assessments. The EU events and the final Summit will showcase the work that has been done. These collaborative efforts serve as a foundation for more impactful campaigns, which will be bolstered by comprehensive communication and dissemination activities. The project's overarching goal is to create an impact by collaborating with beneficiaries such as learners, practitioners, the public, policymakers, and EU citizens. This collaborative approach produces robust evidence-based outputs and outcomes that further reinforce the project's impact.
