Description
Description | The Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education (LLLP) is the largest European network of networks raising awareness of the EU agenda in education and training; LLLP does so by facilitating dialogue and cooperation between NGOs, policy and decision-makers. The network brings together over 40 European organisations, representing over 60 000 educational institutions (schools, universities, VET, adult, youth, volunteers and training centres) and associations (students, teachers, trainers, parents) covering formal, non-formal and informal learning: the members reach out to millions of beneficiaries and has over a million of active volunteers. Since its establishment LLLP has been pursuing an active dialogue with European institutions; enabling exchanges of best practices, experiences and expertise; disseminating information on key issues in the lifelong learning sector; bringing together different sectors, fields and actors in education and training; promoting a more democratic, civic and social Europe; fostering cooperation between various education and training actors. These organisational objectives perfectly align with the general EU interests and therefore contribute directly to the EU policy objectives set out in the call for proposal. LLLP will continue to pursue these objectives in the upcoming two years through a number of activities, grouped in four main areas: 1- Organisational Development and Management, 2- Capacity Building, Peer-Learning and Training, 3- Policy and stakeholders engagement, 4- Dissemination, Information and Awareness-Raising. The impact of LLLP’s communication and dissemination activities is assessed via regular evaluations, membership surveys, media engagements, communication strategies, partnerships, access to and impact on policy processes, feedback sessions - involving diverse target groups (LLLP members and their networks, decision&policy-makers at all levels, ENGOs, Think-tanks, social partners, media, citizens). |
