The FutureEU project aims to enhance the teaching and learning of EU-related topics, matters, digital citizenship and literacy skills in primary and secondary education (ISCED 1–3). The project responds to the Jean Monnet Teacher Training initiative by equipping teachers with knowledge, skills, and innovative methodologies to effectively integrate EU matters into their curricula. Through digital-first and interactive approaches, FutureEU project will promote the teaching and learning of EU topics in the province of Konya, Türkiye's primary and secondary education system (ISCED 1–3) by empowering teachers and students FutureEU will create accessible educational resources, such as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) with digital lesson plans, interactive modules, gamified content, podcasts, and social media materials. It will also organize local and international teacher training programs, strengthening the capacity of educators to teach EU topics confidently. A critical aspect of FutureEU is its teacher and student engagement strategy. It plans to train 600 teachers locally and 50 teachers internationally, while also involving over 2,000 students through various activities, competitions, and study visits to EU institutions. The project will also develop an e-curriculum with 120 lesson plans, filling the gap in structured EU education materials. Project will also focus on enhancing different literacy skills, digital citizenship, and critical thinking skills among students, ensuring that they engage with EU values in a meaningful and practical way FutureEU incorporates a sustainability plan that extends beyond the project’s lifetime. The online platform, digital resources, and teacher networks will remain active for at least ten years, ensuring long-term impact. Dissemination strategies include social media campaigns, scientific articles, public events, and Erasmus Days activities, maximizing outreach to policymakers, educational institutions, and the broader community
