The BUILD project addresses key European challenges such as migration, social inclusion, and inequality, fostering solidarity and cooperation across EU member states. By creating a permanent network for democratic engagement and cultural exchange, the project promotes best practices in integration, refugee reception, and combating discrimination. Participants will develop a deeper sense of European identity, with a focus on shared values such as democracy, equality, and human rights. Two events will be organised, lasting five days, one hosted in Marta (Italy) where 136 people will participate, the second in Grožnjan (Croatia) hosting 126 people, for a total of 262 direct participants. The program combines theoretical activities (workshops, seminars, and conferences) with practical experiences (project work, job shadowing, study visits), encouraging active citizen participation and cross-border collaboration. The project aims to strengthen European identity through shared values like democracy and equality. Its outcomes—scalable solutions for integration and social cohesion—will benefit not only the participating towns but also other EU countries facing similar challenges, fostering deeper cooperation across Europe.
