The project involves the construction of the Bujama Grade-Separated Intersection on the Panamericana Sur in Mala, Cañete, Peru. With an investment of approximately PEN 39 million (US$11 million), the works include elevating the highway via two reinforced concrete bridges (20.5 m long, 5.8 m clearance), adding a third traffic lane, building grade-separated intersections, installing concrete lane dividers and controlled access points, and developing a pedestrian and bicycle network. The goal is to improve road safety—reducing head-on and pedestrian accidents—while easing traffic congestion for over 240,000 residents in the area. The project is 70% complete and is scheduled for delivery between October and November 2025.
