Bullitt Film Slate Application

ended

Bullitt Film devotes its experience, capacity and vision to creative documentary filmmaking for international audiences. Our films combine ambitious and compelling storytelling with the urge to stimulate social change and provide for new perspectives on socio-political matters. The 2023 slate comprises three bold high-end documentary projects intended for global audiences: One three part series and two feature creative documentaries, one intended for a considerable impact and outreach campaign in kicking off in France. In addition, a short creative documentary developed by two emerging talents. Together the projects form an ambitious strategy to strengthen our European partnerships - establishing new collaborations with co-producers in Czech Republic and France and extending our long-term partnership with producers in Sweden and finally enhancing our portfolio considerably through collaboration with a streaming platform to develop our work with the serial format. We believe in the strength of the synthesis between the independent artistic voice and the authenticity of documentary filmmaking to reach diverse audience groups. In this slate we are supporting established female directors and new voices. Each project in their own unique way addresses urgent themes and embraces diversity both in front and behind the camera.
