Burlington Heights Greenfield Housing Project Phase 3

under construction

Phase 3 of the Burlington Heights Greenfield Housing Project in Durban involves the construction of 109 houses for families residing in temporary housing since 2018. The project includes engineering infrastructure such as earthworks for roads and platforms, asphalt surface roads, retaining walls, pedestrian access with stormwater drainage, and sewer reticulation. The project has faced delays due to the illegal occupation of land by a church, storm-related damages, and insufficient funding for road works.
