under construction

The project involves revitalization and expansion of Burnett Bayland Park in Gulfton, Houston. The plan includes expanding the park's footprint from 32 acres to 75 acres, improving accessibility with safe pedestrian crossings and well-lit trails, planting native trees to increase shaded areas, upgrading recreational facilities including sports courts and soccer fields with new options like pickleball courts, and adding economic and social amenities such as a new community center, food truck areas, and a permanent farmers market space.
