Description
Description | BurnStar Technologies and Mitochondria Energy Company have signed a Letter of Intent to establish the commercial and technical framework for on-site supply of turquoise hydrogen to power Mitochondria's expanding fleet of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) systems in South Africa. BurnStar will deploy its patented Liquid-Metal Bubble-Column (LMBC) methane pyrolysis reactor producing high-purity hydrogen with zero direct CO₂ emissions. Mitochondria plans a phased rollout of fifteen 50 kW modular fuel cell systems starting late 2026, with a combined capacity of 800 kW and an annual hydrogen off-take of up to 200 tons per year. |
