The project site is private land adjoining a key Powerlink substation, with an underground 275 kV grid connection. The project is in the early stages, seeking federal environmental approval and expects to lodge a planning application later in 2026. Iberdrola is also considering adding a wind farm at the same site, which would be developed independently. |
