Description
Description | The project consists of installation of classroom ventilation units in Burton Elementary School. The school includes 5 classrooms in the original 1959 construction which are naturally ventilated through exterior windows. Proposed project includes the installation of vertical classroom ventilators equipped with energy recovery and electric heat to precondition outdoor air delivered to the space. Total air volume delivered to the classrooms will encourage removal of airborne contaminants. A building automation system will be included in the project to provide centralized control and scheduling, improving energy efficiency. |
