Description | The project consists of replacing or rehabilitating approximately 261 bus pads and replacing 62 bus shelters in Brantford, Ontario. A condition assessment study completed in 2018 identified the need to replace existing bus shelters as many are rusting, structurally unstable and not fully-accessible. This project addresses that report by installing fully accessible shelters. In addition, aging bus pads will be replaced to improve the overall quality of public transit infrastructure. Overall, this project contributes to improved capacity, quality and accessibility of public transit infrastructure in Brantford, Ontario. |
