Under the acronym BITNET (Business, Internationalization, Innovation, and Technology Network), a unique network of excellence will be relaunched for the period 2025-2028, with a strong focus on sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. Covering the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), the BITNET consortium will provide comprehensive support aimed at enhancing the sustainable growth, resilience, and digitalization of SMEs in Bosnia, the EU, and beyond. Drawing on the success and experience of previous consortia, including BITIN (2009-2014) and BITNET (2015-2021), and building on the innovation-focused 2022-2025 period, this new phase will prioritize ESG-driven solutions, contributing to the long-term competitiveness of SMEs. The consortium members, mutually complementary, will continue to provide integrated and enhanced services, implementing a client-centric approach to help businesses navigate challenges and leverage internationalization opportunities within the Single Market. The BITNET network will also focus on raising the technology and innovation level of SMEs, preparing them for a more sustainable future and helping them align with global sustainability goals, fostering resilience, and competitiveness on a larger scale.
