This project in Energy Generation [Non-Renewable] sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is being executed by SJVN Thermal Private Ltd. [wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Ltd.] The project is located at Chausa, Distt. Buxar in the state of Bihar. The investment approval for the project has been accorded by GOI on March 08, 2019. The foundation stone for the project was laid by the Honble prime Minister of India on 09.03.2019. Main plant works of the project awarded on June 22, 2019 as a single EPC package. The progress of the project is in full swing. The project scheduled to be commissioned by 07.01.2024 is now expected to be commissioned by 31.03.2024. |
