Description | This project will address flooding that is occurring on the Van Wyck Expressway (678I) Mainline S/B and C-D roadway between Long Island Expressway (LIE) and Kew Gardens Interchange (KGI), Long Island Expressway (495I) between 678I and Grand Central Parkway, and E/B Grand Central Parkway (907M) under the 49th Street overpass in Queens County. Flooding of the roadway can be reduced by adjusting the profile of the roadway, cleaning of drainage structures and pipes, and replacing undersized pipes. |
