Description | GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy and Canadian valve manufacturer Velan signed a collaboration agreement to explore supplying critical reactor valves for BWRX-300 small modular reactor projects across Europe. The agreement covers reactor integral isolation valves and containment isolation valves, which control coolant flow and support safe reactor operation. This collaboration builds on their existing partnership at the Darlington New Nuclear Project in Ontario and aims to extend the Ontario-built supply chain into the European market, including plans for deployment in Poland. |
