“Byala Beach Sports EU Fest” includes 7-days event with various beach sports: tournament for Beach Volley for amateurs from 10 countries, events for beach tennis, beach football, beach wrestling, fun traditional games; events dedicated to involve wide audience from all ages to take part in training sessions and to form teams, which will take part in informal tournaments - 1 competition for “all ages” beach volley and 1 tournament for kids age 12 – 17. The Fest will also transfer knowledge by side-events”: each day of the Fest special workshops with open access for all the Fest guests, presenting topics on healthy lifestyle, physical activities, balanced nutrition and focusing on the preventive benefits of sport for human health. The main objective of the Fest is to encourage healthy lifestyles for wider audience by attracting the population to participate in variety of Beach sports and physical activities. The Fest aims to promote: 1 recognition of a healthy lifestyle through sports and balanced/healthy nutrition; 2 sport and physical activity as a tool for health; 3 activities encouraging the practice of sport/physical activity; 4 volunteering in sport; 5 social inclusion through sport; 6 traditional sports and games. By involving various target groups (amateur clubs, local communities, guests/tourists, vulnerable groups(emigrants, minorities, disabled people), sports federations/clubs, SMEs in the field of sport and physical activities, Sport NGOs and Associations, public authorities, referees) we plan to achieve 6 major results: 1 Conducted European-wide sport event, 2 Reached wide audience for participation in sport and physical activity for healthy lifestyle, 3 Raised awareness among the audience for the benefits of having regular physical activities and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, 4 Extended network of organisations active in sport/physical activities, 5 Promoted volunteering in sport, 6 Social inclusion through sport.
