Description | Bypass Carretero Poniente will be of type A2, that is, with two lanes. In the first stage, 21 kilometers already built in the southwestern part will be rehabilitated and then the remaining 24 kilometers will be consolidated. Pinfra is in charge of the concession which has a term of 30 years. Total project cost is 2.154 billion pesos (USD 94.4 million). Construction started in October 2020 and is expected to be completed in less than 18 months to be put into operation in 2022.
