Description | The Búzios 7 Project is Petrobras' sixth production system in the pre-salt Búzios field of the Santos Basin. It includes the FPSO Almirante Tamandaré Búzios 7 platform, which has set a production record with a peak instantaneous flow of 270,000 barrels per day and average output exceeding 250,000 bpd, above its nominal capacity of 225,000 bpd. The project aims to push Búzios field output toward 1 million bpd by the end of the year, making it Petrobras' largest-producing asset. The project has been recognized for advances in offshore engineering and subsea technology. |
