Description
Description | The C Concourse Expansion at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is Seattle's first all-electric terminal project, featuring a photovoltaic installation, public airside outdoor space, and designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification. The expansion increases the concourse size from 7,525 m2 to 21,274 m2, adding four new floors above the existing building to improve passenger circulation, accessibility, and comfort while supporting future growth. The project eliminates fossil fuels for heating and domestic hot water by using all-electric building systems and includes sustainable features such as electrochromic glazing, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and waste reduction programs. |
