Description | The Cache Wind Project is a proposed wind energy project located northeast of Cache Creek, British Columbia. It is a partnership between BluEarth Renewables and the Nlaka’pamux Nation Tribal Council (NNTC). The project aims to have a capacity of up to 300 megawatts, featuring up to 51 wind turbines, electrical collector system, substation, transmission line, operations and maintenance building, and access roads. If approved, construction would start in late 2030 and operations would begin by October 2033, with the project expected to operate until late 2062. |
