"This project involves the second phase of constructing the Cajuína wind complex in Rio Grande do Norte state, Brazil. The focus will be on developing the Santa Tereza 7 wind park, part of the Cajuína complex. The sponsor for this initiative is the Brazilian renewables company AES Brasil. The total project cost is $180 million (R$900 million), secured through a debenture issuance by the sponsor company with the assistance of BNDES, Santander, and Itaú Bank. The funds will be used to reimburse expenses and investments related to the construction of wind farms at the Cajuína complex. These assets are in the final phase of construction, with full start-up expected in 2024.
