Details include twinning the rail track along the CP Rail corridor to accommodate passenger trains. An MOU has been established between Invest Alberta Corporation, the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Transportation and the Canada Infrastructure Bank while the project will be developed privately by Liricon Capital Ltd. This is a private sector initiated unsolicited P3 proposal which the Government of Alberta is evaluating under an Unsolicited Framework process. The project is currently under design. The location on the map does not accurately depict the precise routing. |
