Calibration Lab for Medical devices

The vicinity of IIT Delhi and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences has encouraged the entrepreneurs in the region to come up with practical solutions in the areas of diagnostics and medical devices. Various medical devices startups have been formed by the students of both institutions and collaborative efforts for product development and testing allows them to take the solutions to market at a faster pace. One of the bottlenecks these tartups face is lack of testing and calibration labs in the vicinity of these institutions. The Foundation for Innovation and technology Transfer is working towards bridging this gap and plans to setup an advanced calibration lab for medical devices at the IIT Delhi Campus. This lab shall be housed at the upcoming Research and Innovations park at the campus. This will cater to other startups being mentored by FITT as well and provide end to end solutions for testing and calibrations of Medical devices.
