The aim of the project is to point out the diversity of Europe in the aspect of connecting the citizens of 4 countries. This is diversity in culture, languages, citizens (different nations and nationalities live in Europe), genders and in the view of current topics and needs. We transfer this diversity to the project activities. The basic task is to present diversity through workshops, presentations, exchange of best practices, discussions. We will ensure that “diversity” is translated into overcoming prejudices, developing tolerance and solidarity, eliminating discrimination and into common dialogue. Citizens representing 4 EU countries will participate in the implementation of the project. Among them will be representatives of local governments, ordinary citizens, members of associations and non-profit organizations, but also members of minorities (including Roma). They will actively approach the topic of diversity. We divided the main topic into three basic sections – civil diversity, cultural diversity, European diversity. Civil diversity is associated with pointing out discrimination against selected groups of the population and the need to suppress it. Cultural diversity is connected with pointing out the different languages of the nations present, the different cultural customs of the nations and minorities living in their territory. Culture will represent an element of connecting and overcoming prejudices. European diversity is linked to European policies of environmental protection, tourism, active aging,digitalization and resilience of Europe. The purpose is to contribute to a better future for Europe. The project will fulfil the following goals: 1) Suppression of discrimination against minorities and improvement of equality between men and women 2) Use of intercultural dialogue to connect citizens and create friendships 3) Involvement in the idea of building the EU on solidarity 4) Highlighting the importance of the EU and solutions for our common future
