Description | The development objectives of Second Phase of Health Equity and Quality Improvement Project is to improve equitable utilization of quality health services in Cambodia, especially for the poor and vulnerable populations, and to provide immediate and effective response in case of an Eligible Crisis or Emergency in Cambodia. This project has four components. The first component, Improving Financial Protection and Utilization of Health Equity Fund, has the following sub-components: Financing the HEF; Enhancing HEF Management and Utilization; and Enhancing Roles and Responsibilities of PCA. The second component, Strengthening Quality and Capacity of Health Service Delivery, has the following sub-components: Implementing New NQEMTs-II Nation-Wide; Building Comprehensive Service Provision with Expanded NCD Services and Strong Community Engagements; and Building Service Capacity of Referral Hospitals. The third component, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, has the following sub-components: Project Management, Capacity building, and M&E; and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion. The fourth component, Contingent Emergency Response, with a provisional zero allocation, is to allow for the reallocation of financing to provide an immediate response to an eligible crisis or emergency as needed. |
