In the event of an eligible crisis and if the CERP is activated, several immediate response needs would be supported through the operation, as applicable given the nature of the crisis. This is intended to mitigate the immediate impacts of crises on vulnerable populations by aiding access to critical inputs and the resources needed for recovery. This includes providing direct food aid to households, distributing animal feed to livestock owners, and supplying seeds and other agricultural inputs to farmers. Additionally, technical assistance will be provided to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of these resources, optimizing the recovery process, and enhancing the resilience of affected populations. The overall risk of this operation is low as it includes only emergency response support with a low impact on physical infrastructure.
