Camp Verde Rainwater Harvesting and Water Conservation Projects

under implementation

The town of Camp Verde is implementing two water conservation projects to protect the Verde River. The first project involves educating conservationists on rainwater harvesting techniques, including installing rain tanks and building rain gardens to capture rainwater for irrigation. The second project replaces old fixtures in town facilities with low-water-use ones to save water. These efforts aim to reduce dependence on groundwater and save millions of gallons of water over the next decade.
