Canada Games 2023 APM Centre Upgrades

The Project consists of upgrades to the existing Atlantic Property Management (APM) Centre to bring the venue up to hosting standards for the Canada Winter Games in 2023. These upgrades will increase the quality of this recreational infrastructure and provide benefits to the community beyond the Canada Winter Games. The Project works include upgrading the APM Centre’s HVAC systems and software controls to resolve and eliminate the heating and condensation issues that are currently causing rust throughout the facility and contributing to poor ice quality in the arena. These upgrades will benefit residents of the Town of Cornwall and the broader community by improving the APM Centre’s ability to better accommodate athletes, coaches, and spectators, which will result in approximately 2,250 additional visits to the facility per year.
