Description
Description | The Canadian School is a circular school structure embedded into the volcanic terrain in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico. The design features seven circular buildings divided into 24 wedge-like segments, organized on a natural 3-meter slope. The rooftop serves as a park accessible from the street, while classrooms are surrounded by gardens and courtyards. The school layout breaks from traditional linear formats, creating a porous landscape with 62% of the site unbuilt. Custom-made concrete blocks inspired by the volcanic terrain are used for durability and modularity. |
