In August 2011, a Canada based company Canadian Solar Inc. was granted agreement to build and operate 20MW solar power plants in Sihong County, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. The first phase of the project commenced in September 2012 with a capacity of 6MW and was completed in January 2014. Canadian Solar had a 100% stake in the project. The total investment in the first phase was US$ 9.37 million

The total investment in the first phase was US$ 9.37 million (RMB 58.082 million). Canadian Solar would operate the facility for 25 years. |
