Description

Description

This project will be the seventh of L-Mediehus’ information campaigns about the reform of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which came into force on January 1, 2023. The first campaign was carried out in 2020/2021, and we have had a new campaign each year since then. The overarching goal of all our campaigns is to address the lack of information about CAP and the CAP reform – i.e., CAP 2023–2027 – as we have identified it in Denmark, a gap that we still see. We will inform stakeholders by providing information in our weekly newspaper in the form of two pages with articles dedicated solely to informing about the CAP. Furthermore, we will produce monthly video reportages and bi-monthly infographic web articles, which we will published on our dedicated CAP website and social media. Our main aim to inform Danish stakeholders about CAP’s implications and opportunities for sustainable agriculture, whether socially sustainable (fair pay, equality for genders and protection for trading practices) or climate/supply chain-related Through this initiative, L-Mediehus aims to foster a greater understanding of CAP 2023–2027, counter misconceptions, and provide a platform for constructive dialogue about the policy’s impact on Danish agriculture and rural life. By focusing on accessible and engaging content, the campaign underscores the relevance of CAP in addressing its impact on Danes from both a local and European perspective.
