Description

Description

The project aims to enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement with the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) by leveraging the strengths of leading Czech media outlets and targeted events. It combines editorial content, multimedia formats, and stakeholder-focused initiatives to inform diverse audiences about CAP’s role in promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, rural development, and other areas. For the general public, the project will utilize the platforms of Aktuálně.cz and Hospodářské noviny (HN.cz) to produce engaging editorial content, including multimedia content as well as traditional reporting, and other written content. The content will highlight the CAP’s environmental and economic contributions, showcase success stories from Czech agriculture, and counter misinformation with balanced, fact-based narratives. To address agri-food stakeholders, policymakers, and decision-makers, the project will organize studio debates, stakeholder conferences, and thematic panels integrated into Euractiv.cz’s established high-level events. These activities will provide a platform for discussing CAP priorities, such as sustainable farming, generational renewal, and the resilience of the agricultural sector. Profi Press, through its flagship publication Zemědělec and events like Naše pole and Den Zemědělce, will focus on engaging young audiences, particularly students of agricultural schools, to raise awareness about CAP’s relevance for future generations. By combining media outreach and stakeholder events, the project ensures that its communication efforts reach broad and specialized audiences. This approach maximizes impact, fosters informed debate, and builds trust in EU agricultural policies. Through high-quality content and inclusive dialogue, the project will contribute to a better understanding of the CAP’s objectives and benefits while laying the groundwork for sustained engagement and future initiatives.
