Sivry-Rance, in the Hainaut region (B), and Eppe-Sauvage, in the Avesnois region (F), have been linked for many years. Ten years ago, a woodland hiking project was set up: the Transylvestre. Today, the success of this cross-border link is undisputed, as it is highly appreciated by users. At present, however, the target group is limited to experienced walkers. Our working group would like to offer new services to other groups, in particular less sporty walkers or families with children. The trail would be redesigned as a large game, incorporating landart and atypical street furniture. A promotional campaign would also be rolled out. To draw attention to the overhauled site, a theatrical event would be organised along the trail during the summer. Presented in the form of a series of short scenes, this event would be put on by a regional theatre company, drawing on local characters or anecdotes.
