This project in Mine sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Director, MOEFCC vide office Memorandum dated 20.10.2021 issued the simplified procedure for issuing E.C up to 20 percent capacity expansion over existing capacity for iron, manganese, bauxite, limestone as done in case of coal Mine to facilitate enhancing the production subject to certain conditions. The Office Memorandum benefits from obtaining the production enhancement for the Deposit-5 project. Therefore, NMDC has proposed for capacity enhancement of Deposit-5 from existing 10 to 12 MTPA RoM Iron Ore. This process will achieve towards NMDC vision Plan |
