Description | The project will modify Echuca Regional Health’s (ERH) existing rooftop concentrated solar thermal (CST) system to extract and utilise significantly more solar energy, more often, and to lower the cost of operating its cooling service.Key resultsSolar thermal (ST) equipment was installed at Echuca hospital in three project stages, with two different ST collector technologies. The collector technologies are reflective of innovations and market offerings over the period. The third stage initiated in 2018-19 aimed to improve extraction and use of ST. This technology was successfully installed and commissioned during ongoing hospital operation. |
