Cape Verde - Education project, phase 2

The Education II Project is part of the Government of Cape Verde's policy in the field of education and training. It aims to develop human resources through the adaptation of the education system. The project is expected to contribute to making education effective both internally and externally, to improving educational management and planning, and to making the illiteracy rate high. The Project’s outputs and outcomes comprised of physical and non-physical facilities, both tangible and non-tangible. Physical or tangible outputs were in the form of completed infrastructural facilities and procured equipment, furnishings and materials, photocopiers, motor vehicles, etc. The project’s principal components are as outline below: i) Secondary Education Extension, ii) Secondary Education Quality Improvement, iii) Support for Post-literacy Activities, iv) Education Management and Planning, v) Project Implementation Agency Support.
