Capital Improvements to the Marsh Street Centre

The Capital Improvements to the Marsh Street Centre (the Project) aims at improving public safety, appearance and visibility of exterior. The Project will also reduce probability of asset failure; improve appearance/functionality of practice rooms; improve public safety/functionality of stage and accessibility of handicap washroom and reduce lifecycle costs. The Project involves installing wall cladding over spray foam insulation; replacing the street level windows; painting the upper windows and parapet capping; and repairing bricks, mortar or grout, where needed; replacing doors; repainting windows/masks; installing new signage & lighting; replacing ceiling and lighting. The practice rooms will be upgraded by installing new soundproofing and drywall; painting walls; installing new carpet; and installing new ventilation system. The accessible washroom will be upgraded. The improvement of the building will ensure the Center continues to serve over 1660 people in Clarksburg while the improved practice rooms will benefit over 110 Marsh Street Rocks student and for over 500 other users of the Marsh Street Centre.
