Description | The European Cycle Route EV2/R1 is an important route for cycling tourism in 7 European countries and thus also a flagship for the tourist level in the individual countries. This east-west route runs inter alia through the capitals of Germany and Poland. Cycling tourism plays a key pillar in the German and Polish travel areas. The project addresses shortcomings in the lack of cross-border awareness of natural and cultural heritage, as well as insufficient cross-border visitor guidance. The project includes the expansion of the EV2/R1 and its feeders with a total length of 5 389 m as well as digital data collection and long-term, sustainable presentation on the Internet and in geoportals. |
