From the total estimated investment, the sponsors have already invested US$ 10 million; the financing for the remaining cost has been requested from the BID. The estimated average daily traffic flow is 57,030 vehicles. As of January 2000, the government is considering the possibility of canceling the contract with Aucoven on the grounds that the tolls being charged are too high to the quality of the service provided. In Jun. 2000, Aucoven has started an international litigation process arguing that the government has failed to follow the concession contract clauses. None None |
