Description
Description | Thanks to the reinvestment activity plan, Caramel Films aims to acquire and release theatrically 7 European non-national films. About 40% of the allocated budget will be used for the minimum guarantees invested in the distribution rights of these films and 60% will be spent in the promotion, marketing and advertising costs of theatrical releases. The objective is to continue supporting diversity and inclusion through its process of acquisitions, finding films directed by women, defending minorities, and promoting social values. Caramel Films will also keep dedicating constant efforts to make its distribution activities more sustainable, partnering with companies which try to minimize their impact on the environment, and using more digital materials at every stage of the process. In terms of acquisitions, Caramel Films will continue releasing prestigious European titles selected and awarded in A film festivals but will also seek for audacious new talents. In terms of theatrical release, Caramel Films will maintain its strategy towards reaching the traditional audiences in cinemas, while also identifying and seeking new audiences that arise from the constant changes and evolutions of the audiovisual market and giving an increasing importance to digital campaigns. The team of Caramel Films being part of this project will share the responsibilities as follow: Enrique Gonzalez Kühn (CEO) will be in charge of films acquisition and will supervise each release plan. Barbara Merino Abad (Head of Sales) will handle the bookings in cinemas and will coordinate with the partners. Jorge Estrada Hernandez (Head of Materials) will be in charge of the production and delivery of materials. Nadia Lopez (PR) will organize the venue of talents, interviews, premieres. Beatriz Cebas (Social Media) will oversee the publicity and social media campaigns. Jose Manuel Blazquez Delgado (CFO) will elaborate the budgets and cost allocations to each release, payments and financial reports. |
