Description | """CAREdiZO- CARE Driven Innovation for Gender mainstreaming in Home, Micro-Enterprises & Micro-CSOs” project aims to tackle the gender care gap by promoting a gender-transformative approach in Home, Micro-enterprises, Micro-civil social organizations and utilizing innovative digital tools. Our objectives are to: 1.Promote family-friendly practices in Micro-enterprises & Micro-CSOs (up to 10 employees) -93.5% of all companies-by strengthening the capacity of their Directors or/and HR staff and by encouraging the take up of the new rights under the Work-life Balance Directive by both women & men. 2.Challenge gender stereotypes to encourage equal sharing of informal care of children, housework, elders etc and promote men to take parental-paternity leave to empower their role in care and family. 3.Raise awareness of the value of care work and reflect on the appreciation of skills needed for care work (eg. soft skills) 4.Motivate and engage Micro-enterprises & Micro-CSOs to further endorse the Gender mainstreaming and inform them on the benefits of promoting and supporting equal care 5.Strengthen national and transnational cooperation on actions for bridging the gender care gap among different stakeholders. These will be achieved by: 1.Desk research, creation of a community of practice & online living lab/co-creation workshops with the target groups & policy makers to collect or co-create gender care gap policies and good practices and find out ways to overcome challenges of Micro-enterprises, Micro-CSOs on applying gender mainstreaming and supporting equal care policies 2.Development of a serious game, e-course & targeted trainings to trainers (mentors) and Directors or/and HR staff of Micro-enterprises & Micro-CSOs 3.Development of a series of podcasts & a serious game that challenge stereotypes about informal care work, raise awareness of its value and encourage equal sharing 4.Implementation of 4 local & 1 online transnational multiplier events." |
