Description | EBMUD will be upgrading the water facilities in your neighborhood as part of the Carisbrook Reservoir and Skyline Pumping Plant Project. This project will help improve water quality and water service reliability in the area and include the following elements: Selective site demolition, including removal of the existing Sklyline Pumping Plant structures and appurtenances. • Selective demolition of the Carisbrook Reservoir roof and columns, reservoir valve pits, including demolition of all mechanical and electrical equipment and removal of 3 trees. • Construction of a 1.0 million gallon pre-stressed concrete reservoir within the walls of the existing reservoir. • Construction and paving new access road into existing reservoir basin. • Construction of a new Skyline pumping plant within the walls of the existing reservoir. Workplan and schedule: Construction will be from May 2017 and will be completed in Spring 2020. Construction hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Schedule subject to change.
