CAST-SKY (Castles in the Sky) is a twinning project aimed at increasing active citizenship in rural areas through imaginative activities. Imagination is a human faculty that can be particularly useful in areas with limited opportunities and low levels of activism to awaken new visions that, starting from a local dimension, can embrace a European one. The project aims to engage rural communities in creative and imaginative activities, encouraging citizens to explore new ideas and solutions for their territory. Through workshops, events, and cultural exchanges, CAST-SKY intends to stimulate active participation and civic engagement, fostering the emergence of initiatives that can improve the quality of life in rural areas and strengthen the sense of belonging to the European community. Project Objectives: Promote active citizenship: Encourage citizens in rural areas to actively participate in community life through creative and imaginative activities. Stimulate imagination: Use imagination as a tool to explore new visions and possibilities for local and European development. Foster European cohesion: Create a link between local rural communities and the European dimension, promoting cultural exchange and international collaboration.
