Catalysing the regional innovation capacity of the MEDIC NEST Digital Precision Medicine ecosystem and beyond

The InnoMedCatalyst project aims to enhance the regional innovation capacity of the precision and personalized medicine ecosystems across Europe, where startups, spinoffs, scaleups, innovators and healthcare providers will increase their capabilities to develop, test and refine digital health solutions as business cases, while concurrently preparing a series of interregional investment projects ready for further investment and exploitation by 2026. The general objective will be reached through a set of guiding pillars, such as regional value chain analysis in digital precision medicine in the context of the 5P Medicine concept, building roadmaps towards Regional Innovative Ecosystems in 5P digital precision medicine, the development of a Peer learning (region2region) Programme, twinning programme, a 5P Precision Medicine Accelerator Programme, an Innovation Network Platform (Life Sciences Open Space) and a Portfolio of European Interregional Investment Projects. The InnoMedCatalyst consortium is envisaged to strengthen the collaboration of regions with various degrees of development, the members being North-East Regional Development Agency, North-East Regional Innovative Cluster for Structural and Molecular Imaging, Klaster LifeScience Krakow – Poland, MEDVIA - Belgium, Hellenic BioCluster – Greece, Cluster Soluciones Innovadoras para la Vida Independiente SIVI -Spain, Clust-ER Industrie della Salute e del Benessere CLUST-ER, Italy, Health and Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria, Health Cluster Portugal, European Regional and Local Health Authorities, BIOCAT, Spain and InPulse Partners as technological transfer centree.
