Caustic Soda Project

GCL to establish a caustic soda manufacturing facility as well as for the production of sodium hydroxide and its associated derivatives for the mining, paint production, plastic manufacturing sectors. The project would be situated in Prampram in the Greater Accra region. This project has become necessary because, sectors such as mining, paint production, plastic manufacturing, and other sectors spend heavily on the importation of these chemical raw materials for production and hence the need to produce these chemical raw materials locally. The establishment of the project would help boost industrial development. An investment amount of US$150,000,000.00 is required to undertake this project.
