This project involves securing the water and wastewater treatment plants servicing Cavendish and Proctorsville, Vermont, against increasing cyber threats. The facilities, originally built in the 1970s, are facing new challenges from hackers targeting critical infrastructure. The project includes participation in Project Franklin, a cybersecurity initiative linking experts with critical infrastructure operators, and implementing basic cybersecurity measures such as network monitoring and password management.
