Description | The proposed investment consists of a financing package equivalent to US$4.5 million to be provided in local currency (HTG) to Caribbean Bottling Company S.A. (“CBC” or the “Company”), a bottling company headquartered in Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti. CBC is one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of: (i) water and related products; (ii) juice beverages under the brand “Frooty”; (iii) iced tea under the brand “Brizz”; and (iv) isotonic drinks under the brand “Active”. The Company employs over 500 people and commercializes its products through a well-established distribution network.The project consists of the acquisition of solar panels, a battery system, and a backup diesel generator to reduce energy costs and the carbon footprint of the Company (the “Project”). |
